Our History
PAP, Haiti - Founded in 1970, our company began as a small family business in Haiti, operating with a single truck. Over time, the business adapted and expanded, navigating through challenges, including international sanctions and economic embargoes. Upon lifting restrictions to Haiti, Chatelain Cargo Services SA, CCS SA, evolved into a freight forwarder with a growing team of professionals servicing worldwide destinations. What started as a modest operation of about 20 employees grew significantly into a corporation of 100 employees 15 years later.
USA - In 2007, CCS SA expanded its presence by partnering with the Dominguez family as Chatelain Cargo Services Inc., a separately owned and operated NVOCC licensed in the United States. CCS Inc. is FMC licensed in the US, Hazmat Certified in the US, and an Indirect Air Carrier in the US, using bonded warehouse facilities, separately owned and operated. CCS, Inc., exports and imports a wide range of cargo types with comprehensive rail and inland operations across North America.
Today, both companies provide fast and easy shipping worldwide. With a dedicated team of brokers and logistics experts worldwide, we provide competitive rates, custom clearance Southbound and Northbound, insurance quotes, trusted logistics expertise across continents, delivering shipping door-to-door.
